Music Programs

Camp Sunrise’s Music Camp & Performing Arts Institute
Junior Music Camp (ages 7 - 12); Teen Camps (ages 13 - 19); Sunrise Music and Performing Arts Institute (ages 12 - 19). Youth have an opportunity to learn to play brass instruments, or participate in drama, photography, choir, guitar, as well as fun camp activities such ashigh ropes, archery, swimming and canoeing.

The Gate
The Gate is an exciting new music program for youth . It is free for those who have a desire to learn. We meet each Friday night and have many jam sessions.

First they learn the basics of music theory and technique on a Rock Band instrument of their choice.

Students are placed in a group and learn about what it takes to be in a band and to perform.

These groups perform at our monthly Open Mic Nights. Open Mic Nights feature a coffee house, special guest speakers for youth, and The Gate’s bands.
