Teen Programs
The Gate
The Gate is an exciting new music program for youth ages 12 - 18, taught in three phases.
Level I
The first level is made up of 12 students who learn the basics of music theory and technique on a Rock Band instrument of their choice.
Level II
Students are placed in a group and learn about what it takes to be in a band and to perform.
Level III
The third level is performing at our monthly Open Mic Nights. Open Mic Nights feature a coffee house, special guest speakers for youth, and The Gate’s bands. To register, or more information, please call 604-988-7225.
New Hope Chef Training Program
An intensive 3-month course, held 3 evenings per week for students who are serious about becoming chefs. This free course includes classroom style learning, handson kitchen production, banquets and field trips. |
